Pop Up Pottery at Carousel London

22 April / 10.00–15.00

The workshop will begin with a demonstration of how to throw on the pottery wheel, and an introduction to general ceramic skills and handbuilding techniques. You’ll then get stuck into creating your own pieces, taking to the wheel to make your own bowl and vessel with one-to-one guidance from Finola or one of her trained assistants. As well as using the wheel, you’ll also put your handbuilding skills into practice designing and making tiles.

Guests are welcome to make as many pieces as they wish during the workshop, and all work created will be fired and glazed for you to keep.

All materials and aprons will be provided, but do ensure you wear suitable clothing (no loose jewellery or high heels). The workshop is from 10am - 3pm, and includes a delicious lunch in the Carousel restaurant.
